DVD Duplication - Available in 5 business days

DVD’s can contain lots of different things, images, files, movies, or productions like a Mini Movie video. This duplication service is for video that the customer would normally view on their TV. If it doesn’t play in a TV DVD player (not a DVD computer drive), it is not a DVD duplication.

Film to DVD - Available in 4 weeks

Available from: Super 8, 8mm and 16mm
A DVD holds up to 120 minutes; approximately 1200 feet. If the production exceeds 120 minutes, additional DVD’s will be used as needed and additional charges will apply.

If the reels need to be transferred in a particular sequence, clearly number their movie reels accordingly. It is best to write the number sequence directly on the reel.

Music
Customers have a choice submitting their own music selection or using copyright free music supplied by the lab. Customer supplied music is accepted as CD or MP-3 files. Lab supplied music is determined by a video specialist and is instrumental only.

Titles
Titles are most often added at the beginning, at the end or before each reel. Titles can be up to 6 lines with 18 characters per line. They should be clearly printed or typed out with specific instructions for placement.

Video Files to DVD - Minimum of 5 business days

Available from memory cards, flash drives, DVD, mini DVD and hard drive camcorders. Video files may be on various media. Due to the variations between the file types, a video consultant will determine the proper transfer format and pricing.

*Large quantity orders may require additional service time. Request a service time estimate from the lab.

Create Your Own Video - Minimum of 15 business days

A Create Your Own Video allows customers to combine multiple sources, edit movie film, sync images to specific songs and more. A video consultant will contact the customer to discuss all the services needed and prepare an estimate. Appointments may be scheduled with a video consultant. Ask for details at any Harold's Photo Experts location.

Music

Special Note: According to Federal Copyright Law, reproduction rights belong to the photographer. Harold’s Photo Centers will only reproduce copy-righted images with written permission from the copyright owner. Federal Copyright Law also protects commercially marketed videotapes. We are unable to duplicate these types of tapes.

Mini Movie - Available in 5 business days

We'll help you make a spectacular movie to tell your story. Complete with titles, music and image transitions. Customers can choose to have the movie loop for repeated play unattended. Mini-Movies can be made from either prints (preferred) or digital files. We recommend no less than 50 images for optimum viewing enjoyment, with a max of 200. All images must be submitted in the same format, all prints or all digital files. Orders completed from prints include a Data DVD with images scanned at 300dpi for the original print size submitted.

Image
Prints must be standard sizes, 2.5x3.5- 8x10/12 and should be numbered before submission. Digital file must be on one source, preferably DVD. If images need to be in a specific order, each file will need to be renamed starting with 001.

Music
Customer supplied music is preferred and must be on DVD of MP-3 files. Submit up to 10 minutes of music, typically 2 songs. The lab has a limited selection of copyright free music available. Lab supplied music is determined by a video consultant and is instrumental only.

Text may appear at the beginning and end of the movie but is not required.

Video Tape Splicing & Repair
Harold's Video Production lab has the ability to splice or repair most damaged videotapes. We can remove the tape from the damaged cassette and if necessary, splice it back together and place it in a new cassette. A $5.00 charge applies. Allow 3 business days.
